When the Bagley Sisters get together there are boards,sharp items,and hot metal involved. No, not carpentry or metal works (although we wouldn't rule them out) but sewing. With ironing boards, needles, scissors and a hot iron we are easily entertained. This week we have been able to fit in stitching a frilly apron, several baby blankets and pillow cases. This is to maintain sanity amidst a teething baby and three other children who required a snack every 20 minutes but aren't that interested in what we have cooked for dinner.
We visited Tiffany Coleman and found out that our sewing escapades are historical. . . they were chronicled in the Wildflower Weekly newspaper printed in 1976.
We are tending the Dyer grandchildren in Sacramento and thoroughly enjoying being together and laughing at our rusty mothering skills. Christy says it is just like riding a bike, it comes back but it seems harder.

I love the 'riding the bike' comment. I will have to tell my Mom that it comes back. She just took care of Jaclyn's children for a week, and that bike ride was exhausting.
