Tripping the Light Fandango

Let me share a little of the culture of this beautiful city Merida with you. This month of January they are celebrating their city's anniversary. The powers that be provide funding for many events through out the month, most of which are "gratis". Last night my friend Tina and I attended the "Noche Flamenca" where renditions of Tango, Flamenco and Fandango were performed.
The last half of the program was to the music of "Carmen", a famous opera. I have put one of the songs "Habanera" on my playlist for your enjoyment. Also here is a link if you would like to watch the Fandango.
