Liza is getting way out of her comfort zone. We waded in water up to our necks at times, swam, and climbed to reach the highest and most sacred ground in the ATM caves. We went in and up about a 1/2 mile. We saw calcified remains of Mayan offerings, pottery and human skeletal remains. Some of the big openings with stallagtites were as beautiful as some cathedrals.I have never seen anything like this in all our travels.
